Privacy Policy — Acorn Assault
Effective November 4, 2026
Overview
AlphaToZed, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the free mobile game Acorn Assault: Slingshot Smash (the "Game"), built with the Godot Engine for iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and which third parties are involved when you play. By downloading or playing the Game, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.
Information We Collect
We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name or email to play. Progress (levels completed, stars, scores, settings, and related gameplay flags) is stored locally on your device (Godot user:// save files). That local save data is not synced to AlphaToZed servers. Uninstalling the Game removes it from the device. If you email us for support, we receive whatever you voluntarily include in that message.
Advertising, Analytics, and Crash Data
Acorn Assault is free-to-play and shows ads. We serve ads through Google AdMob, with Meta Audience Network and Unity Ads as mediation partners (no InMobi). These SDKs may collect and process device and ad-related data such as IP address, device make/model, OS and language, carrier, advertising identifiers where the platform and your consent allow (for example IDFA or GAID), ad impressions/clicks/completions, and diagnostic or crash signals used to run and measure ads. We do not operate a separate first-party analytics or crash-reporting product (for example we do not ship Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics in the Game), but ad and mediation SDKs may still gather performance and fault-related telemetry under their own policies.
Consent and Tracking Choices
Where required (for example EEA/UK), Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) may ask for consent before personalized ads are requested. On iOS, you may also see Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. Declining still lets you play; ads may be non-personalized or limited-tracking inventory. You can further limit ad personalization in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security and in Android ads settings.
How We Use Information
Local save data keeps your progress and preferences on device. Ad partners use the data they collect to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and (with consent where required) personalize ads. We use support emails only to respond to your request. We do not sell personal information.
Third-Party Privacy Policies
Review partner policies for details: Google (policies.google.com/privacy), Meta (facebook.com/privacy/policy), and Unity (unity.com/legal/privacy-policy). Apple App Store and Google Play process store account and billing data under their own policies if you use platform features.
Children's Privacy
Acorn Assault is a general-audience physics puzzle with ads. It is not directed at children under 13 and is not listed in Apple's Kids category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information through our SDKs, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Data Retention and Deletion
Gameplay saves remain on your device until you clear app storage or uninstall. Advertising and mediation partners retain data according to their own policies. To request deletion of personal data we hold from a support email, contact us at the address below.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Game after an update means you accept the revised policy.
